In this time of instability, there’s a lot to take in—news updates, public health mandates, changes in workflows. But one thing we think cannot be expressed enough is love and compassion for one another. To everyone facing new and unexpected hardships: we commend you and your strength! 

With school postponed for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19, we feel for the parents struggling to look after their kids while continuing to work, or put food on the table when they may be out of a job. We recognize that many depend on school for providing meals to their young ones, and this can be a challenging time, especially for lower-income communities.

Here at home, the LA Food Bank needs all the help they can get, and we want to honor their incredible efforts.
March we donated 15% of every purchase to the LA Food Bank.
(A gift of $100 gives 400 meals, and $250 gives 1000 meals!)

To help stop the spread of this virus, we’re taking every precaution we can at Pistola HQ. Most of our employees are working from home, and the few in our warehouse working to get your shipments to you are wearing gloves and masks, and practicing social distancing. We’ve doubled up on sanitizing and disinfecting on hard porous surfaces to keep our spaces and procedures as hygienic as possible.

We’re making masks

As we all learn how to navigate this new cultural climate, one thing has become indisputably clear: we must look out for each other. Front-line responders and healthcare workers have been showing up every day and putting themselves at risk for our safety and well-being, and we want to give back the best way we know how—by expanding our operations to make protective masks. For every pack you purchase, we’ll donate a pack to medical workers and essential workers in our community who need them. Together, we can make an impact.
